About the Role

EazyPay Tech is looking for an experienced Android POS Developer to work on secure, scalable payment applications for POS terminals, SoftPOS environments and connected payment devices.
In this role, you will contribute to Android-based payment solutions involving EMV, NFC, RuPay, UPI, NCMC and transaction-processing technologies. You will work closely with payment, backend, hardware and certification-focused teams to build reliable applications for modern fintech environments.
This role is ideal for Android developers with strong payment-domain experience and hands-on knowledge of POS devices, EMV transaction flows and contactless payment technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android POS and SoftPOS applications.
  • Implement and optimize EMV payment transaction flows.
  • Support EMV L2/L3 implementation and certification-related activities.
  • Integrate RuPay, UPI and NCMC payment functionality where required.
  • Implement NFC and contactless payment features.
  • Work with ISO 8583-based transaction processing.
  • Integrate applications with payment hosts, APIs and backend services.
  • Work with POS hardware, device SDKs and serial communication interfaces.
  • Build maintainable Android applications using MVVM architecture.
  • Develop modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot transaction, device and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, backend, hardware and payment engineering teams.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of Android application development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Experience developing Android POS or payment applications.
  • Good understanding of EMV transaction processing.
  • Experience with NFC and contactless payment technologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging and transaction flows.
  • Experience working with POS devices or embedded payment hardware.
  • Understanding of MVVM architecture.
  • Experience with REST APIs and backend integration.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of secure application development practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SoftPOS or Tap on Phone solutions.
  • Experience with EMV L2 or L3 certification environments.
  • Knowledge of RuPay payment integrations.
  • Exposure to UPI payment workflows.
  • Understanding of NCMC or transit payment solutions.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Knowledge of POS hardware SDKs and serial communication.
  • Previous experience in fintech, banking or payment technology.
  • Experience integrating payment terminals with host systems.
